Mac Tonnies began publishing Mars/Cydonia commentary on the Web in 1998. This effort later became the "Cydonian Imperative," which formed the thematic backbone of his book on the subject, "After the Martian Apocalypse" (Paraview Pocket Books, 2004).
His essays on JPL's mishandling of the life/intelligence on Mars issue have appeared in "New Frontiers in Science," "Meta Research Bulletin" and "Mysteries" magazine. He has been a repeat guest on Dr. Bob Hieronimus' 21st Century Radio and several others. In January (05) he will discuss the implications of planetary SETI at MUFON Arizona in Sedona.
He has a BA in Creative Writing and, as a high school student, was a two-time winner of a NASA/Mars essay contest, winning trips to the Space Coast and the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center, respectively, to present his papers on Cydonia research.
